Post the link to your blogged slice on schoology.com by the start of class each Friday.
On my way to school today, I heard just what I needed. Not like my favorite song, or anything, is that funky, reggae version of "Lean On Me," or Elton John's "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart," which came on another station I flipped to at about the same time, but these songs swept in and reguided my morning from the "Oh, geeeez... I have that meeting today?" feeling, to a calmer, more joyful place befitting a Friday morning.
Per this slice's title, I have a playlist on my phone and computer entitled, "FeelGoodMusic" that includes a mixture of everything from Frankie Yankovic's polkas to Sublime and The Drifters; included in that mix is the favorite "Got My Mind Set on You" and Jimmy Fallon's "Idiot Boyfriend" that we just "boogied" and dorkily danced around the kitchen to last night. Viva la good music!
