Post your slice to schoology by the start of class Friday.
However, before the lines "What a beautiful face I've found in this space..." wave out from the speakers, a typical YouTube advertisement begins. This is ad, though, is one I ended up watching rather than avoided by clicking the tempting "Skip Ad... in 5.4.3.2.1." It was that good and important.
As part of the Dove Real Beauty campaign, the ad talks to us and about us. It reminded me that there is a world full of wonder and true value beyond the everyday chaos and confidence crushing petty garbage that threatens to choke our joy out at times. I may have doubts on certain deflating days or during weeks of stress, but the truest, most optimistic thing I always can do is see and be myself as the beautifully spunky happy-heart I typically own.
I've also come to enjoy Neutal Milk Hotel's songs "The King of Carrot Flowers," "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea," and "Two Headed Boy."
