What a great way to start a Saturday morning. Up around 6:30AM and checking out some of my usual online resources (newspaper, e-mail, Google Analytics...) when I came across a useful and familiar blog entry on the site "Two Writing Teachers," a place I like to look at every few days to see the musings, concerns, and newest epiphanies of two reflective teachers. Well, this morning, I enjoyed reading about the connections Stacey, one of the "Two Writing Teachers," made between the praise she has benefited from in her Pilates class to the type of feedback her students could authentically connect with. I'm passing on a fine piece, "Praising Kids. Talking to Kids. Questioning Kids," which highlights one of the innumerous ribbons tying our lives within and outside of the classroom tightly together.
