On the drive to school, two Queen songs provide spirited sing-alongs, and I arrive before anyone else for a morning meeting.
Each class period flows along since the schedule is no longer mine, but is now "ours"; Thursday's Quick-Writes, BookTalks, reading time, drafts and conferences, and the impending deadline for Reading Counts make sense to a hundred and thirteen people and myself.
Stopping to take pictures as I coast along a country road on the way home before making a braid for someone else, pasta sauce and spinach, and Meko pushes his way through my clicking, clacking forearms and into my lap as I slice tonight.
