Instead of a final slice of clarity and "ahhh" satisfaction, I find words are coming most easily out of my fingers when I am writing what is really on my mind. Like yesterday, when the missed opportunity to say "Thank you" more earnestly was being replayed and examined in my mind, I found the voice to string my thoughts together into a slice that more people connected to than I expected when I listened to what was actually at the forefront of my mind at that moment.
"Get a rebound, Michigan State. Come on!" I shout at the TV... and I am actually feeling a little better just saying what I think. Considering tomorrow's spring break frenzy: here's to everyone researching wisely and being prepared to conference over the two questions before heading out to break. [One win is taken care of....] While the smooth chaos of the photo above fits the 'look this way - look that way' back-and-forth urgency of the final seconds of a game or day(s) preceding a break, the lack of focus gets old and screams, "Just do your best. You aren't, yet, working as hard as you can, or doing as well as you can." [Down by eight with four minutes left, and Louisville is apparently 25-1 when they lead with five minutes remaining...maybe I'll reread now to see if there is any cohesion here. Now, 2:45 left, down by eight; 2:40, down by seven. We'll see how this goes. Clapping, shouting, "Gotta get the rebound; get your rebound!"]
Having posted the link to my slice, it's now 1:52 and down eleven... Don't know if this is gonna happen. 1:06 and Louisville sinks a three. Wow; they're up fifteen. There goes my bracket - kind of. I did pick Louisville to make it to the Elite Eight on my second bracket, which now seems like an even more unlikely pick for me to have made.
